Made from whey obtained from organic milk, Molkosan is rich in a substance known as L lactic acid which is now known to support the growth of good gut bacteria. In this way, it acts as a prebiotic. Alfred Vogel recommended drinking a teaspoonful in a glass of water 20 minutes before meals, 3 to 4 times a day, or sipped whilst eating to aid digestion. May be used for as long as desired.
