Bird Eating Spider – Tarantula – Sling

This particular type of spider, known as the Australian Tarantula or Bird Eating Spider, is scientifically classified as Selenothous species. The spider is commonly available in small sizes, with a size comparable to a 5c piece, but it can grow to have a leg span of approximately 160 mm and fangs measuring around 10mm.
